Standard Carbide
Logo Design
What red-blooded creative doesn’t love a shot at logo design? Our friends at Full Blast Creative offered this overflow-project our way, and we were please to accept the task. We primed ‘er a couple pumps, yanked the pull-cord on Adobe Illustrator, and gave ‘er the biscuit. “Vector time!”
“How much more black can you get?” The Standard Carbide logo is based on squares in a grid, and is a nod toward the lattice/crystal structure of carbon. Colour was intentionally omitted as another hint toward carbon. A logo which holds up nicely in black and white is a bonus (a personal opinion of yours truly).
